Plate edge milling machines

Plate edge milling machines are used for weld seam preparation of
large steel plates. These plates are processed into pipes, vessels or
other devices or they are welded to deck sections for the shipbuilding
industry.

All current seam forms and tapers can be produced on plate edge
milling machines. Depending on the thickness of the plates, the milling
depth and the material, high feed rates are possible. The system can
be run manually by a single operator or in automatic mode.
