Presses and closing units form the mechanical basis for the hydroforming
process. Besides the custom-made solutions depending on the individual
component design GRAEBENER GROUP also provides different press
constructions in order to meet the expectations of single industries as

closing-forces of 1,000 , 1,500 ,1,700 and 2,000,
3,500 and 5,000 metric tons. The column design
is characterized by the fact that the crown and
the bed are connected to each other and
clamped by means of four columns. A main
advantage of this design is the easy
accessibility to the press and the die space
area from all four sides.
